The
grizzly bear watching tour begins at 9:00 a.m. with a
45
minute flight
on a private plane from the 108 Airport (just across
the road from
The Hills Health Ranch) to the Quesnel area.
Upon
landing near Quesnel, guests are escorted by a private
guide to the river.
Here, guests board the jet boats
(either an 18’ or 14’ boat holding four or three
passengers
respectively) and head up the river to the
spawning grounds, where aboard the safety of the jet
boat the grizzly
bears and other wildlife can be viewed and
photographed.
A
lunch is provided by The Hills Health Ranch, and
guests return in time for
their evening meal.
